Koluvu is operated by Craftful Technologies LLP, a limited liability partnership with its principal place of business at Site No.5, Veeraswamy Reddy, Kadugodi, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560067, India. GSTIN 29AAQFC4417R1ZM. In this policy, “Koluvu”, “we” and “us” mean Craftful Technologies LLP.

For the personal data described below, we are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). You are the Data Principal.

Depending on how you use Koluvu, we collect:

• Account: name, email address, phone number where you give it, and sign-in details.
• Career information: resumes and work history you upload or enter, education, skills, and your job preferences such as target roles, locations, expected pay, notice period and when you are open to move.
• Agent conversations: what you tell Koluvu’s agent in text or voice, and the summaries produced from it. [DECIDE: whether voice audio and transcripts are stored, and for how long.]
• Employer information: if you hire through Koluvu, your name, work email, company, and the roles and requirements you share.
• Payments: billing details, processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage and device data: pages visited, actions in the product, browser and device type, and cookies, which help us run and improve the service.

Give us only what you are comfortable sharing. Where a field is optional, we say so.

We use your personal data only for the purposes below.

• To create and run your account.
• To build your profile and, where you ask for it, match you with roles and show you jobs that fit.
• To let the agent interview you about your skills and experience and to prepare a summary.
• If you turn on employer discovery, to show employers an anonymous profile, and to make introductions you accept.
• If you hire through Koluvu, to understand your roles and introduce you to candidates.
• To process payments, send receipts and keep tax records.
• To provide support, keep the service secure, and prevent misuse.
• To improve Koluvu, using usage data that is not tied to your identity where we can.

If we want to use your data for a new purpose, we will ask you again.

We rely on your consent for these purposes, except where the law allows or requires us to process data without it (for example, to meet a legal obligation).

Consent is yours to give separately for separate purposes. Using Koluvu’s tools does not make your profile visible to employers. That is a separate choice you turn on, and you can turn it off at any time.

You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, from your account settings or by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done lawfully, but we will stop the processing it covered.

Employers. If you turn on employer discovery, employers see an anonymous profile. Your name, current company and contact details are shared with an employer only if you accept an introduction from them. You can hide your current company from specific employers where the product offers that setting.

Service providers. We use providers for hosting, payments, email and messaging, analytics, and AI and voice processing. They may handle your data only on our instructions and under contract.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not rent it to recruiters, staffing agencies or advertisers.

We may disclose data where the law requires it or a competent authority lawfully asks for it.

Koluvu uses AI to interview candidates, summarise conversations and suggest matches. These outputs can be imperfect. They help a person decide; they do not make hiring decisions. Whether to interview, hire or reject you is decided by people at the employer.

We keep personal data only as long as the purpose needs it, or as the law requires. [DECIDE: retention periods by data type, for example account and profile data, agent conversation records, payment and tax records.]

If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as tax and payment records.

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we process and why, and who we share it with.
• Correct, complete or update your data.
• Ask us to erase your data.
• Withdraw your consent.
• Have your grievance heard and answered.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or cannot do so yourself.

Use your account settings, or write to [email protected]. We will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.

Koluvu is for people aged 18 and over. Under the DPDP Act, a child is anyone under 18, and we must obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before processing a child’s data.

Support for younger users with verified parental consent is planned. Until it is available, we do not create accounts for people under 18 and do not knowingly process their data. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, limit access to people who need it, and review our practices as the service grows. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

We never ask for your email or LinkedIn password.

[DECIDE: hosting region and any transfers outside India.] We transfer personal data outside India only as the DPDP Act permits.

We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, understand how the site is used, and improve it. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking some may stop parts of the site from working.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the product, and update the date above. If a change needs new consent, we will ask for it.
